The fountain, which was listed in 1977 and is popularly known as the “Gallic” fountain, is located below the Saint-Gildas chapel. The water from the spring is said to have the virtue of curing animals. The September pardon perpetuates this age-old tradition with the presentation of horses and other equines.
It is made up of a monolithic block followed by two rectangular tubs, forming a whole dedicated to the Trinity.
