A three-phase strategic plan
The Valley of the Saints has drawn up a strategic plan for 2023-2028 aimed at improving the conditions in which visitors are welcomed and the working conditions of artists and sculptors. The priorities for the Vallée des Saints are
2023: development of a new car park, with a connecting path and a new entrance with facilities for cyclists and walkers, as well as extending the site from 15 to 38 hectares; enhancement of the tree heritage.
2024: creation of new areas (space to promote Brittany granite, exhibition space dedicated to the works of sculptors from the Vallée des Saints).
2025-2026: construction of a new building to house the Vallée des Saints sculptors’ workshop (training centre), toilets and offices.
2027: development of the village square; creation of a remarkable garden.
2028: renovation of an old building and development of an interpretation centre and seminar facilities.

Phase 1: 2023
- Development of the new car park
- Development of the connecting path
- Development of a new entrance area with facilities for soft mobility
- Extension of the site and enhancement of the tree stock
Total investment: €1,220,000
82% financed by a bank loan, 10% by grants and 8% by the Carnoët town council
Phase 2: 2025 -2026
- Construction of a new building, initially comprising toilets and offices, followed by the sculptors’ workshop.
- Planning permission was obtained at the end of 2022 for the construction of a 400 m² building.
Total investment: €1,400,000
Funding is currently being sought with the support of the A Galon Vat endowment fund and local authorities. There are no plans to take out a loan for phase 2.
Phase 3: 2027-2028
- Development of a village square
- Renovation of the old building and development of an interpretation and business tourism centre
